R CUBED LIFESTYLE, the clothing boutique and home décor shop that opened in Sacramento’s Land Park neighborhood in April, is a veritable treasure chest brimming with goodies for your home and wardrobe.
The store’s name—the three Rs stand for renovation, restoration and refinement—hints at the eclectic articles within: African mudcloth blankets, upcycled vintage flannel shirts, recycled Moroccan glass tumblers, oversized Kate Spade pillows. There’s something for every taste here.
Much of the merchandise is made by California artists and designers, including one-of-a-kind jewelry from two Sacramento-based makers: Shannon Gilley (who is also the store’s owner) and Pamela Touhy. Gilley also stocks a well-curated selection of handmade cards, decorative pots, small paintings and vintage furniture.
R Cubed’s back room is filled with an on-trend collection of apparel, including tops from Joah Brown and Blonde Peacock, denim from Lucky Brand and Citizens of Humanity, and too many cute scarves and handbags to count. And how’s this for retail karma: A percentage of every sale at R Cubed goes to the charity of your choosing.
